The new “R2D2” (Routes to Development 2) runs April – July 2015 and builds on our earlier “pilots” – A2EV and R2D1 Projects and tackles worklessness within Tower Hamlets, by providing 15 economically inactive/unemployed people with bespoke Intermediate Employability Skills development in the Hospitality, Leisure Travel & Tourism (HLLT) sector, Work Experience/Volunteering/Apprenticeship placement and onward progression into higher learning/training/volunteering and employment opportunities.

The Project is funded by £12,500 of European Union funding from London Councils and the Mayor’s Community Fund and will help 15 trainees gain Level 3 Vocational skills from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
